Veteran IT executive Eddy Ciliendo joins 21CS (formerly 21st Century Software) as Vice President of Business Development. In this newly created position, Ciliendo will define and lead 21CS’s corporate strategy, fostering trusted partnerships and new product development for clients in the Z/OS ecosystem and beyond.
Ciliendo comes to 21CS with more than 23 years’ experience in Mainframe and Cloud Computing strategy, including key positions at IBM and Swiss Re. He begins his new role this month and will report directly to 21CS CEO Nicholas Pachnos.

Ciliendo most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer for Model 9, where he was responsible for the company’s long-term technology strategy, go-to market deployment and key marketing partnerships. Ciliendo’s background has made him a thought leader on hybrid cloud solutions and cyber resiliency.
